We have sent the notification of top-3 teams and honorable mention teams on September 26. Please check your email box immediately. If you received our notification, please send the reply slip (the confirmation of author list) to us as soon as possible (by September 30).
We request that all the TOP X teams of our contest record a 1- to 2-minute video show to introduce your team members and the program you wrote. These video shows will be played in the Award Ceremony. This is a valuable chance for you to disclose your key ideas and algorithms to different professionals in this most well-established CAD conference. Certainly, you may also tell us how you get the inspiration and introduce your team members in the video show. You may even introduce yourselves in a creative way and so let the rest of the industry/academia remember your names/faces. The show should be recorded in the form of MPEG. Please send the file to cad.contest.iccad@gmail.com by October 13, 2016 and remember to add "ICCAD2016_Video Show of Problem (A, B or C)" to the subject line of that e-mail.

To the contestants of Problem C: Contest will be scored using testcases that have not been released previously. You program will take two new parameters, cc and mc. cc stands for cluster count and mc stands for max cluster size. These are optional, i.e., you don't have to use them. But it gives you a chance to speed up your tool once you satisfy the suggested cluster count and maximum cluster size. Results that are below the reference cluster size will not improve your score further, and results above the maximum cluster size will not improve your score further. So you can use these guidelines to speed up your tool. - 2016/08/23

Problem C announcement: Contestants should focus on enabling the a and e switches as none of them got it to work; it may be a compilation error or lack of sufficient explanation on correctly running their tool from a command line. If they have an update with a and e switches working, we can check their solution before the beta submission.- 2016/07/06
